Curico Valley, Chile

Cloudy mid-orange hue with amber tones. The nose reveals grapefruit, peach, lemon zest, and tropical fruit with wild herb notes. Tart and textured palate shows orange peel, mandarin, lime, and stone fruit with salty mineral character. Medium to full-bodied with tight, zesty finish and noticeable tannins from skin contact.

Food pairings

Pairs with grilled seafood, Spanish gambas al ajillo, soft goat cheese, charcuterie, spicy curries, and Asian dishes. Handles bold, savory flavors well.

Product description

Viña Echeverría No Es Pituko Orange is made from 100% organically grown Sauvignon Blanc in Curicó Valley, Chile. The grapes grow in granitic sandy loam soils rich in quartz and minerals. This orange wine undergoes 60 days of skin maceration with wild fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The extended skin contact creates the distinctive amber color and tannic structure. No sulfites are added, and the wine remains unfiltered and unfined, reflecting the minimal intervention philosophy of the No Es Pituko range.

This Sauvignon Blanc shows grilled peaches, citrus, apricots, and wild herbs on the nose. The palate is tart and chewy with medium to full body, salty minerality, and stone fruit flavors. Serve at 50-55°F. No decanting needed. The grippy tannins and bright acidity pair naturally with ceviche and grilled seafood dishes.
