Campo de Borja, SP

An incredibly friendly red from 70-year-old Garnacha vines vinified in massive large oak casks (read: fruit leads the way here).

A blend of various Garnacha parcels, all located in the municipality of Ainzón, in the northwest portion of the province of Zaragoza, within the D.O. Campo de Borja. Medium weight, with a purity that is a result of fermentation and aging in 70-year-old, 20,000 liter vats. Roses, violets, cranberry, blackberry, blueberry and a touch of vanilla. This is a no-brainer choice for a “house” red wine.
