Both Xavier & Dominque Vayron are the faces behind Chateau Bourgneuf, a property that resides in the village of Pomerol on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Here the clay soils are perfect for Merlot with both power and finesse. After eight generations in the same family, they continue to make some of the best bottles in Pomerol. Their daughter, Frederique, took the helm in 2008 where she brought a refreshing both an personal and contemporary approach to their winemaking. With her tenure, she was the first of the family to bring on a second wine. 

Saisons de Bourgneuf is the second wine of the chateau incorporating just a touch of Cabernet Franc. This blend is intended to be an early drinking style and reveals the fleshy power that is Merlot.
