Counoise from Fernow Ranch - an organically farmed, no-till site on the east side of the Mokelumne River AVA in Lodi. The Counoise vines are young plantings on granitic soils. The wine was made with 50% carbonic/50% destemmed fruit, and matured for nine months before bottling, unfined and unfiltered.

The yummiest juicy chilled red! Tastes of cherries and earth with a dusty tannic structure that's so light and lovely.
