Staffelter Hof – Little Red Riding Wolf mega again. The wine shows the creativity and heart and soul that Jan puts into his wines. Since Jan unfortunately lost almost all of his Pinot Noir grapes with the Staffelterhof in that vintage due to frost and hail, he decided without further ado to work with Blaufränlisch grapes from good friends in Austria. Hence the name BFF Edition. As a result, the wine is already significantly different from previous years, but thanks to the work in the cellar Jan and the yeasts in Jan's cellar recognize him as an equal brother. We would describe it as super drinkable and fruity, but dry and an insane length. The overall package is just great, super-drinking cuvee made from Merlot and Blaufränkisch in funky packaging.

Nice detail: In this special edition, the Austrian flag can be found in the grapes on the label, which Little Red Riding Hood holds up to the wolf.
