wine crafted by Deux Punx in collaboration with wine importer Merchants of Thirst. Made from a 50/50 blend of Carignan and Barbera grapes sourced from the organically farmed Barison Vineyard in Tehama Valley, California, this wine embodies Deux Punx’s punk-inspired, minimalist ethos. The Carignan undergoes whole-cluster carbonic maceration, while the Barbera is pressed and floated atop to ferment, creating a dual fermentation process that yields an incredibly bright, fresh, and almost translucent red. Aged for 7 months in neutral oak with minimal sulfur dioxide (20 ppm), it clocks in at a light 11.3% ABV. Bursting with flavors of strawberry, peach, citrus, and rose petals, this glou-glou style red is a complex, chillable wine with a Jolly Rancher-like vibrancy, offering a tie-dye explosion of fruit and soft tannins.
